How much you can earn
- Welcome impressions — $4.80 per 1,000: the ad right after /start.
- Regular impressions — $2.40 per 1,000: ads at slots inside the bot. Show them after your bot has delivered the result (video, file, answer): the ad stays the last message and gets noticed.
- Clicks — $0.04 per click: welcome and regular ads paid per click. They go to your bot only when they earn you more — see below.
- Earnings become available for withdrawal after 7 days. Withdrawals from $50 in USDT (TRC20), $3 fee; request them in the web dashboard or the bot, then confirm in the Telegram bot.
Pay-per-click: when it pays more
Some advertisers pay per click instead of per impression. For those ads you earn $0.04 for every click on a button or a link in the text. The impression itself isn’t paid, so HiViews looks at your bot’s CTR — the share of impressions that end in a tap.
HiViews puts pay-per-click ads into your bot only when, at your bot’s CTR, they earn you more than regular per-impression ads. If your audience rarely clicks, the bot keeps getting per-impression ads as usual. You can’t lose, and bots with a responsive audience earn more.
Example: at a 25% CTR, 1,000 welcome impressions bring 250 clicks — 250 × $0.04 = $10 instead of $4.80 for the same impressions.
How to connect your bot
-
Connect your bot in the dashboard
In the web dashboard click “Connect a bot” and paste your token from @BotFather. The token is sent over HTTPS, stored encrypted and never shown back.
-
Wait for moderation
Every bot is reviewed manually.
-
Configure ads
Choose what your bot sells: welcome impressions, regular impressions or both. Propose your bot’s topics (moderators approve them), optionally switch off unwanted ad categories, and allow or disallow explicit posts (within Telegram’s rules). The ad language is matched automatically to each user’s Telegram language.
-
Connect the API
Copy your API key from the dashboard and call
POST https://hiviews.net/as the first line of your /start handler, awaiting the reply. Details are in the API docs.sendMessage
Why impressions can be slow
- Inactive audience. Ads are shown only in response to user actions: if your bot rarely gets messages, impressions are few.
- Old users don’t send /start. A welcome impression fires only on a new /start, so most of the flow comes from new users.
- Few advertisers in your topic. If there are few campaigns for your bot’s topic and its users’ language right now, the API returns
No posts foundmore often. - Frequency limits — at most one ad per user per hour across the whole network and six a day, and a welcome impression in a given bot at most once a day.
What you control
- What your bot sells: welcome impressions, regular impressions or both (both are on by default; at least one must stay on). Change it in the bot settings in the dashboard or in @HiViewsBot.
- Selling clicks: two switches in the bot settings, both on by default. “Fixed-price clicks” pay $0.04 for every click on a pay-per-click ad, welcome or regular. “External clicks” show a post from an external ad network when no regular ad fits the viewer; only clicks are paid, the price depends on country and audience, and the income is credited the next day. Either can be switched off.
- Connecting without a token: if you prefer not to share the token, the bot can fetch and send ads itself. This mode pays for impressions whose sending Telegram confirmed and for clicks; the rate per impression is lower than with a token. How to connect.
- Ad categories: you can opt out of any of them (politics, betting, gambling, VPN, dating, etc.). You propose your bot’s topics, and moderators approve them.
- Explicit posts — only if you allow them.
- Requests — in private chats only and on real user activity. See the rules.
If your ads are paused
You can pause ads at any time. But if your bot is paused while users keep starting it, @HiViewsBot sends a weekly reminder with an estimate of what you missed. One tap on “Turn ads on” in that message turns them back on.
